The Scriptures

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. Written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, Scripture is fully trustworthy and sufficient as God’s final authority for faith, life, and practice. Properly understood according to its historical and grammatical context, the Bible faithfully reveals God’s will and redemptive purposes (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21).

The Triune God

We believe in one living and true God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who are of the same essence, equal in power and glory, and worthy of all worship and obedience (Matthew 28:19; John 17:3).

God the Father

We believe God the Father is the sovereign Creator of all things, who created the world for His glory and continues to uphold and govern all creation according to His wise and gracious purposes. He rules over providence and redemption, accomplishing His will through the Son and by the Spirit (Revelation 4:11; Hebrews 1:3).

God the Son

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life and willingly gave Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. By His death on the cross, He fully satisfied God’s righteous wrath, securing redemption for all who repent and believe. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, reigns as Head of the Church, and will return personally and visibly in power and glory (John 1:1,14; 1 Timothy 3:16).

God the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ and applies the work of redemption to God’s people. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates sinners, bringing about the new birth, and unites believers to Christ. He indwells, seals, sanctifies, equips, and empowers believers for holy living and faithful service, bestowing spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church (John 16:8–14; Romans 8:9–17; 1 Corinthians 12).

Humanity

We believe God created humanity male and female in His image, free from sin, to glorify God and enjoy fellowship with Him. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, bringing death and condemnation to all. As a result, all people are sinful by nature and by choice, alienated from God, and unable to save themselves apart from divine grace (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:10–19).

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Before the foundation of the world, God graciously chose to save a people for Himself. Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, sinners are justified declared righteous before God, regenerated by the Holy Spirit, adopted into God’s family, and secured forever.
By faith, believers are united to Christ in His death and resurrection.
Good works are the fruit and evidence of genuine saving faith, not the basis of salvation.
True faith perseveres in obedience and love for Christ, all for the glory of God (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 8:37–39).

Marriage, Sexuality, and Gender

We believe God created marriage as a lifelong covenant between one biological man and one biological woman for companionship, sexual intimacy, and the bearing and nurturing of children. God created humanity as male and female, equal in dignity and worth, with gender being an immutable aspect of God’s good design. Sexual intimacy is a gift from God to be expressed only within the covenant of marriage (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6).

Men and women are equal in value before God and complementary in their God-given roles. The Bible teaches that qualified men are to serve as elders in the church, while affirming the vital and significant ministry of women within the life and mission of the church (1 Timothy 3:2; Galatians 3:28).

The Church

We believe the Church is the universal body of believers, with Jesus Christ as its Head. All who trust in Christ are united to Him and to one another. Believers are commanded to gather regularly in local churches for worship, prayer, teaching of the Word, fellowship, the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper, service, and mission.
The church practices loving accountability and biblical discipline for the spiritual good of its members and the glory of Christ.
Each local church is to be shepherded by a plurality of qualified elders and united in love for the glory of Christ (Acts 2:42–46; Ephesians 4:16).

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper

We believe baptism by immersion is a public testimony of a believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a solemn and joyful remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, to be observed by believers in anticipation of His return (Romans 6:3–6; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

Mission

We believe every believer and every local church is called to participate in the Great Commission by making disciples of all nations. This mission is fulfilled through proclaiming the gospel, establishing and strengthening biblically faithful churches, and raising leaders who will continue the work for future generations, all for God’s glory (Matthew 28:18–20).

Last Things

We believe in the personal, visible, and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ. At His coming, the dead will be bodily raised believers to eternal life in the new heavens and new earth, and unbelievers to eternal judgment. This blessed hope shapes the life, worship, and mission of the Church (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18; Acts 1:9–11).
